Not sure where the proper forum for this would be, but I've noticed that when you die... not only do you lose exp, but you lose proficiency points as well. Maybe this can be examined?

Thats the way the game was designed. I normal you loose noting, In nightmare you loose gold, but in hell you loose life and gold. If you die to much in hell you have to be more carefull or change something on you charter to prevent this. If you have a week build it shows up around lvl 95 big time. Time to remake is all you can do.

Well the good news is that you cant lose levels in prof, only the 'clicks' you've earned on that level. eg. if you get level 2 on a prof you wont go back to level 1 if you die, exactly the same as the regular leveling system works.

I'm not whining, I was just wondering if this was intended.

heavy slashers used to "stay" at lvl70 for better mf purpose and die to keep themselves from 71 before cata was created. now some people repeat well battles at 64.
but apparently it's not the way paul intended. so it makes sense if he gives a more effective penalty to those who are playing LS against his grand design tongue.gif
