There is no ''best'' in ladder slasher.

Try playing a char that appeals to you, and then ask for some info such as where to stat and what gear to get.

Perhaps try reading some of the guides aswell.

I just started 3 days ago so I havent completed any mq's yet naturally so I need to pick one of the starting classes

Like I said, try playing a character that appeals to you.

Least adviced would be the guardian for your first climb.

i likes casters @ solo

starting off hardcore is very risky, i certainly wouldnt do it. I would play a little softcore just to get a feel of things then switch to HC, but thats just my opinion. Good luck my friend.I would go with a caster though on hardcore and make sure to put some stats into vitality
