hey im lew to ls and i was wondering what type of character would be best to make?
and what is the best way to level?

to start out id go with a barbarian
first 10 points in vita
then rest into dex till u hit 120 combined with gear
then rest into strength

go for a high enhanced effect weapon
a nice strength or dexterity armor (plate mail if possible)
and a nice strength or dex charm


the fastest way to lvl is through catacombs with 4 friends

I agree with what he stated, but a note so you understand the level ups properly

you start with 10 stats, you add them to vita, this only shows you 20 more life, but its so so much more. Every time you level your life increases what ever your Vita Hard learned stats are and your mana increases the Intelligence Hard learned stats. So you want to always add life or mana early on so you gain that each level up.

For later on, Vita stats increase your Def and Low damage taken, Dex increases attack speed and reduced critical damage taken, but also increases your chance for doing criticals. Intelligence increases castor damage and helps lower elemental damage you take on.

Granted you need to level up before worrying on that, if you mess up your guy "reroll" him dont delete. you will keep all your gear and be able to change to a guardian or mage for example. You also will keep all your earned prof when you do this.
