finally passed my first MQ after 6 tries.

I started on mage, i have a full ice charm setup, with some decent int armor and daggers.

I read the hybrid caster for samurai, but i dont have the fg to afford a decent melee setup.

Was thinking a full int build to make a caster samurai, am i going to get owned if i try this?

Or should i reroll and start over to make a melee.

imo reroll and start make a melee. i tried it and it was very sucky imo.

Try it out ? it won't hurt you anyway you need to melee from 1-40 and if it not works well go build full melee build?

you can try to make full caster sammy but i don't think it will work very well. samy have very low mana

yah i just noticed that, and the base int is too low to one shot stuff, i just rerolled a mage again, gonna keep doing so until i have enough fg to make a decent melee build.

do you lose a base stat when you pass a mq? i should have 17 to start with but i only had 13.

you dont loose them when you pass

when you pass to samy it gonna be 1/2 (only with the extras)

then i rerolled mage and still had the disability on my base stats, maybe im just too high.

its 1/2 on all chars when you have passed to samy

when you pass to pala its 1/3

sure caster can be done......


but melee til level 30-40 while stating int...

then find nice intel sowrd for levels higher....


other wise it will be slow cause of low mana....



some mages start out melee till about lvl 10..... cause of this....

Melee to 40-45. If you softcore you can probably find a Cata game easily.

From then cast.
