I think muting is more for re rolling items.

Like say you had a mystical spiderweb robe. lvl 55. And Also another mystical spiderweb robe lvl 55.

You put them in the box, and you get a new mythical spiderweb robe with new stats.

You transmute together items with the same magic level/tier level. To reroll them and get something good.

I dont know if people use the recipes at all. Maybe tho.

yes but u can reroll a robe + fire charm and have a higher chance on intelligence than whith just rolling robe/robe

Yah i have seen the recipes. Everything i try to read about the transmute box is always very vague. So im not sure how the best way to use it is.

Some people keep every item they find, and eventually mute them all together.

I choose certain items, like robes/daggers and keep only those, and mute all of them.

I mute all tier3-14 daggers, and all robes tier6-14.

And i use the recipe for intelligence, however if you had plate mails you'd be better off using the recipe for dexterity or strength.

You can mute at any level.
doesn't matter, just depends on the level of the item

I muted a level 10 Armor other day with an Ice charm i believe

came out 25 strength (perf for level 10)

and i did that at level 20 just as im climbing muting armors and charms

yes but is it smarter to mute cold/cold or robe/cold ?

or does it depend on the item lvl?

best way to use the mute box.... is to mute and expect nothing..... that way if you do mute something you'll be very happy.
