so i just did the mq for the first time, so now my character is level one, why cant i transfer items onto him now?

items on the market place for sale count as slots used in your inventory.

Why woulden't you?

Your eithier level 1 and unlock the next secret character or your level 1 and haven't unlocked the next character if you failed.
