Axes or Clubs [as much enhanced effect as you can get] and strength armors [preferbly heavy armors] or you can get enhanced effect heavy armors if its cheaper. They still work great, Charm go for as much strength as you can. Remember barbs are awesome grinders so go as far you can with them before you need to upgrade.
