rogue you need ALOT more intel and higher ee charms to make up for the lack of mana.

Is the lack of mana really big?

whats the mana diff if they both got good gear on them?

The mana difference is GIGANTIC.

I have currently been leveling my mage and caster rogue pretty much in synch with each other (I'm about to MQ on the rogue and my mage is level 66) and my mage had much more success at lower levels with welling items. You really notice your lack of mana as a caster rogue in wells. You can do 3 - 4 monsters in arena per regen (or more or less, depends on gear) but wells can be pretty sticky. With the same gear at the same level I've had about 85% success on my mage and 20% success on my rogue (if that) simply because I run out of mana almost every time on the rogue. And the only times I fail on my mage is when they are hitting me harder than me heal is healing me, which would have killed me on the rogue anyways.

A mage is far superior for softcore wells in my opinion.


/e: just roughly, I think that my rogue has about 2.5k less mana at the same level
