Been quite some time since I played LS and noticed quite many things has changed .
Been trying to read up on most things, but fumbling in the dark on which of my items I shall use hehe.

As en example I didnt know there was an dex cap (before it was all into dex!)

My fighter has the following base stats (With the armour I use since I got just one):

Str - 69
Dex - 120
Int - 10
Vit - 50

(Trying to save it with putting the following statpoints into str, since my items mainly has +dex and no +str)

The following items is what I need aid of which to use:

Lvl 45 axe:
Dmg: 179 - 214
Bonus: 10% Life leech

Lvl 45 sword:
Dmg: 40 - 407
Bonus: 118 Max life (pretty useless)

Mystical ice XI
Bonus: 8% Life leech & 8 Critical strike

Mythical fire I
Bonus: 7% Armour pierce & 5 Critical strike & 34 Dex

I currently stumble on if to use Axe + LL charm or Sword + LL charm or which to use?

Would be grateful for advices, or for links to read up on it so I can figure it out myself

Thought I would add a short other question:

I used to slash for faith guild, but it seems it has fallen apart. So would like to apply for an other LS guild, do I still do this in Guild recruitment forum or have they made such an forum for LS purely?

As far as the guild thing goes you can just go have a look at the LS guild chat section and pick a guild from there..obviously the guilds that have threads there are interested in LS players and LS themselves.

as far as guilds go though i'll be happy to let you into mine free i'm always looking for more slasher friends to play with.

I haven't got around to changing my charter yet so it still says 100 e/f but ignore that.

To start you off, Life Steal has been kinda nerfed also; instead of doing the full 8% or whatever - it basically does 1 - 8%. So its comparable to Life per attack now. Which is why your set needs to be changed differently if you want for better build. Instead of going all out lifesteal try and use a stat charm/stat armor with life steal. Or vice versa, then you can test it with two life steal items vs. two stat items [stat charm/stat armor] Life steal isn't completely useless anymore, it still does a wonderful job. But many are switching to both stat armor and charm nowadays. Many people are also trying out hybrid chars meaning, putting the first 20 or 30 points into intelligence for the boost of mana pool at higher levels, and using a heal charm whenever they get low on life, but they are still melee. Its proven to work good and MassivelyBored is testing it out numerous times in the forum. But other than that your build seems valid, 120 dexterity is now the point to go usually, then rest strength. And if anything, you'll just have to upgrade your items for better climbing as it's quite easy to get a 100ee mq weapon now. So welcome back and good luck !

pretty much hits the key points, other added things are the catacombs which you may or may not have explored into they are quite fun for team work and group climbing, other updates are fishing, glyphing, and the devils kitchen and the return of pvp

as far as guilds go Anima Templi is open to slashers and we have a nice family of lsers

the builds wayne is trying his first attempt was 40 points in.

Said hes skipping bumping it up to 50 and going straight to 60.

Honestly the minimum to have a good hybrid @ high levels hasn't been decided but even on a pally i'd consider no less than 50 (Not including your base 20)

It just doesn't make a big enough difference @ high lvl healing if you don't have like 70+

At least not soloing.
