Is hybrid the way to go now with the LS nerf? or should I stick with as much LS + stats as I can afford to go? I plan to go 100% solo all the way

also where do the big guns usually stick there first 10 in ?

It is very highly doubtful anyone is going to be able to hand you or will hand you a gg hybrid build for nothing or whatever..

Because everyones hybrid is unique they do whats best for them stat wise based on their items and what they think is best.

Best way to get a good hybrid is to just to try it out once yourself if you don't like the results keep tweaking the build each climb till you get what you want.

I am capable of making a decent build myself, but is hybrid viable for samurai?

Define "Hybrid" to me in your own words.

Do you mean first 40 levels melee, then casting after?

Or do you mean meleeing 100% of MQ and being able to heal yourself while doing it?

hybrid in adding in some intel to be able to heal myself.. Melee with a decent heal charm.

As you can see by the sticky at the top some people define..incorrectly in my opinion I might add a Hybrid as a character that melees half his climb and then uses that sammy pally etc to cast from about 40 to MQ..

They should really make a new term for that its confusing.

Then yes its probably viable. Just have to strike that correct balance between Int Dex & Str.

with stats and items..both have to be taken into consideration when planning out your build.

just need to know what people put their first 10-25 points into and what stats they aim for @55 for Str/ Dex / Int / Vit (For Samurai) Buying gear shouldn't bea problem (got another 15k worth of items to sell on my mules)

Thats the problem lol..everyone aims for different stats because its still in the phases of trial and error w/ the sammy Hybrid.

You can't get someone to do that for you you just need to figure it out for yourself..which is gay I admit i've already had one failed Hybrid climb. (Well I got to MQ ofc..just no faster than a normal climb really..or not much)

Gl Regardless..If it were me I'd hard stat some points in int and then aim for Dual statted items @ 55

E.g. a str or dex plate / Int as a backup modifier.

Same for charm.

Just my personal opinion.

I put 14 points (my base stats) into Int, and then went on to put another 16 so by lvl 17 I had 50 int, now statting dext until whenever

dunno how well this works since it's gonna be my first try "hybridding" (meleeing and then healing when necessary)

one thing to keep in mind when healing
unless you're adamant about keeping your mcc, I'd just go summon a lvl 1 to heal against
