hey, anyone have any expirience witth a caster rouge vs a mage? with my mage, the main problem im having is running out of mana (6200) before i can kill them. well that and just getting smacked by some of course.

my current gear is
23 int dagger
28 int 28 dex robe

and ive just found this
Angelic chitin scale armor
Level Req: 35
Defense: 12 to 50

+42 Intelligence
+1 Magic Luck
+1 Extra Item Slots
+1 to 9 Mana per Attack

so i was wondering if the availability of cheaper + int gear / higher defense would make up for the lost mana and +28 dex.

In my opinion HELL NO

I made a Caster rogue..and got it to 64 and I hated it so much I decided to just go ahead and MQ it.

They get like ..Slightly over half more mana than 50% of a mages total mana at the same level.

If your running out of mana on a mage if you even consider a caster rogue your foolish lol.

I had 4.5k Mana on my caster rogue and I still ALWAYS ran out just before the end of a well..

I'm going mage just for the higher damage (and mostly) massively higher mana pool.

Mage welling is the best welling..if your having problems your only solution is simply to upgrade your gear.
