I'd like someone who has more experience than I to help me with this..

Is there any way to strike a good balance on paladin on a strength build using an EE armor for MQ

I'd also prefer to use axes since they are most consistent though Club would be an option..I already have a 130% EE axe so I might as well put it to use..not the highest but not terrible eithier.

I won't be able to get strength stats on my Plate so try and keep that in mind..

What is about the minimum strength I could get and still end up with a decently effective soloer @ 55+ ..at least 10 link chains consistently?

and what damage should I be aiming for with an axe on a strength build since i'll be using EE armor?

Or is it really just..not viable to make a pure str pally while using EE armors?

I'm thinking i'll reach about 425 to 525 (maybe a slight bit more) damage with an axe using an EE plate. (130 ee axe that is @ 55)

Is that enough? Considering a lot of the hits (except on mage mobs) will be nearly if not nulled by my armor?

Mage mobs typically have low defense so..I'm figuring maybe since i'm a pure str build I should be able to hit pretty consistent 450+'s on them so maybe they will die quickly enough to not damage me too terribly..and i'll have to hope I don't run into too many in the same chain.

That estimate about my damage is taking into account my first 10 points will be vita (in order to help solo @ higher levels)

and final question..is it just me or does it seem like for once clubs might be the best weapon to use on this type of build?

Probably a legitimate bump.

if you want to go full str, then use axes, they're better than clubs with very high str and if you like constant damage wink.gif

Using a EE armor is a very good choice but you need a good armor if you want to put all in str
(dext and int make you take less critical dmg ( from dext ) and less caster dmg ( from int ))

but it is still very possible and it can work out!

your mq weapon should be enough but I don't know if you will be able to hit 10+ mcc at lvl 60+ with that weapon wink.gif

tell me if I forgot something tongue.gif

Forgot to mention what you would recommend as MINIMUM strength to have this build remain effective.

Edit: For the moment I can't afford to get double statted items..So it simply won't be as effective.

Eventually though I'll probably get a Dex/Str or Dex/Int Or Str/Int charm.

and whatever stat isn't on the charm I'll try to get coupled with EE on the armor.

at least 150+ str wink.gif

a nice ee armor ( I'd say plate mail )
and a nice str charm ( 45+ str )

if you can afford those smile.gif
