I am just getting back into the swing of things here and it appears lots has changed. Catacombs look awesome. I am wondering whether most people play hc or sc and why. I don't have much fg any more as I gave it away. I am going to play a rogue to try to build up some cash so do you suggest that I play sc or hc? Seems like rogues die pretty easily without good gear on hc.

Hc drops would probably sell easier and for more..but your also risking the items you buy for your character and on a rogue that could be bad >_<;

Sc would be easier but making fg would be harder...overall I'd probably say go sc till you get back used to the way things work..then once you've done that and made a bit of fg go HC if thats what you think you'd like better.

Very hard to find groups for cata on hc.

Lag still happens and there is nothing you can do if you get trapped in a lag strike. Your char will die no matter how godly your gear is.

Sc > hc simply because of these.

Yeah, that post reminded me why I quit to start with: I lagged out and died on my highest cahracter in HC. Thanks.

i started HC a while back but I've since given up, i just can't be bothered with spending x4-6 times the price for gear when i could lag and die at any moment.
