My objective is to gain a profit of fg.

Eithier one will be a lvl 65 weller

Cheaper gear on the rogue..but is the success rate as high as a magician?

I have a level 40 something caster rogue and (granted it doesn't have the best gear) but it seems like to me a magician would be more effective at welling.

I run out of mana on my rogue slightly too quickly if I take too much damage.

What is the average mana pool for a level 42 Caster Rogue if anyone knows? or has a good estimate.

I'm going to be making one and I need to know which I'm going to make since once I buy the gear that will pretty much be the end of it..

One more thing..is there really any differnece at all in using a dagger w/ 40 int and an axe w/ 40 int?

I just don't feel right using a 40 int axe lol!

I would definitely go for a mage. I have a level 40 caster rogue right now and my mana pool is way too small to try consistently welling. I think I have around 2k or so, and on my mage who is 10 levels lower I have 2.3k already. I believe that most mages have ~8k or so (depending on where they put their first 10) by the time they're around 70 - which is more than enough for most wells in my opinion.

Hope that helped wink.gif

/e: oh and for your last question... the only difference is the difference in price ohmy.gif and what characters can use it.

My mana pool is 2485 Currently @ 42

I feel that isn't really sufficent..for harder wells.

I coulden't quite kill a level 40 well I dropped in I ran out of mana just before it died..(Granted i'm using a level 35 9x ee earth..but still) I would of thought I could of probably done it.

However I already have a 38 int axe and could get a 42-44 int armor pretty cheap..This way i'd only have to buy the charm / heal charm.

Idk what i'll do still yet..

One other question I have..Level requirement has no effect on int right? like it does EE?

So basically the lower lvl item I can get 40 int on would be better (if im a mage where robe defense doesnt really change) ?

What would the difference in mana pools be @ lvl 65?

What is average magician Mana pool @ 65 Vs. Rogue Casters Mana Pool?

I'm not sure on actual numbers in mana pool, but the difference is a LOT!
Enough to make me recommend you to choose mage any day tongue.gif
cheap mage> cheap rogue imo

I would agree with this statement.

I don't know exactly but I believe that a Mage will have over or almost twice as much mana as a Rogue at later levels (just by my estimations)

And about your other question - stats are the same no matter what tier its on. So a +30 intelligence level 20 dagger is the same as a +30 intelligence level 50 dagger wink.gif

Bah..Now I wish the guy who PC'c the robe I found had that pc up his ass.

I let a +42 Int lvl 40 robe with 8 EIS

Go for only 450 sleep.gif Regular 40+ int robes are going for 600+

Granted this was a little bit ago but I think his pc was incorrect even then.
