Okay, so I'm working on my mage, and I've climbed it three ways now.

1. 1 - 10 melee, 10 - 20 casting. This seemed tedious.
2. 1 - 5 melee, 5 up casting. Once again tedious.
3. 1 - 15 melee, 15 up casting. So slow.

Each way 1 - 10 should be melee, its faster (unless I have unspawnable mana per kill or max mana gear, which I don't) so my question becomes:

What to do after level 10 until level 20/25? There isn't enough mana to efficiently cast, even w/ 49 int gear on (24 staff / 25 robe) and its too weak to be effective with melee.

I guess its more of an opinion thing, but I just wondered what everyone else saw fit to work in this situation.

Rick spawnable mpk stuff till 15 then int/good regen gear does the trick for me. I used it till I recently purchased my unspawn max mana staff.

I actually have a dagger you can get, I'll toss it to you next time your on vent.
