Well you can "cast" on a samurai, although its not the greatest thing in the world lol. It depends on what your trying to do with the char though, are you going to go straight caster with a dmg charm also? Are you just looking to heal in catas? For wells you could well with him, but without a very nice ee weap and heal charm, or great dmg charm, you will find them very hard to complete.

I've tryed a hybrid sammy..and well even my screwed up one (Didn't wear combination hybrid gear so I ended up w/ too little int)

I managed 130 average heals w/ only 30 Int including base.

@ 55 I believe..lvl 50 heal charm w/ only 8x ee

So..200-250 heals could be possible even as high as 300 I would suppose with a good ee 55 charm and more into int or Hybrid gear featuring large amounts of int.

(Possibly higher but I woulden't say so without testing)

300 heals aren't too bad if you get a nice mana pool as well.

I'd say possible to well yes.

You would need nice EE wep and nice hybrid gear though.

Like 30-40+ Dual stat (60-80 on each item total) 30 dex or str / 30 int or what have you.

Charm / armor (Plate)

I just casted my samaurai, and he kinda sucked at wells.
I got some godly gear last climb -- 211 EE heal charm and 182EE wind charm, and I could do them then, but the mage is MUCH much much better for it.

Casting a sammy's definately for those who like it slow and steady.
