ok so my mage gear can be seen here currently:

98ee level 55 earth
80ee level 55 focused heal

atm i'm only level 55 but i still have quite a bit of trouble welling, i can only do about 7/10

by the time i reach level 64 i doubt i'll be getting anywhere near that. Is there anything i can do to drastically increase my chances of succeeding? I take it a better charm would be first on the list, but how much ee more than my current would be needed to see a significant difference?

A better heal might help you the most...

but yea, basically wherever you can upgrade you should. I kill fine with a 94 ee ice

HIGH heal charm = Godly for wells

i used a 147 EE lvl 45 lighting charm = roughly 107 EE lvl 55 lighting charm

and a 223 lvl 55 heal charm

and i could complete all my wells unless i ran out of mana due to lack of dmg

but now i got a 175 EE lvl 55 lighting charm now im 100% well able

If i were you i'd upgrade int gear first.

Get 40+ Armor/Weapon First, although they won't be cheap atm.

I really don't have much fg to spend on this.

Say i was going to spend 400fg on making this guy better, what would be my best bet and how much better would it make me?

You can buy a charm 130+ee

I'm hesitant to spend all of my fg at once tbh

would a 130ee charm really cost over 1k? i got my 98ee earth for 115...
