also does the type of weapon effect attack speed? or is there no attack speed

as long as its not a heavy weapon they have the same speed. for a fighter all depends on your weapon.

Swords 120 dex rest str.

Axe all str.

At axe still put dex to 120 and rest into strenght.

im using a heavy weapon lol...wats a really fast weapon? and how do people attack like 3 times faster then me

cause u are using heavy weapons, they attack 2xtimes slower than normal weapons.
