Does rerolling reset your proficiency..?

No. Proficiencies only get deleted when the character is deleted.

If im not mistaken it is based on number of hits not percentages at all.

X number of hits is x% toward 100%

Other than that % have nothing to do with it

E.g. 7k hits to level from 1-2 700 hits would be 10%

Its based on the number of hits not a percentage or monster level (That is unless i've misunderstood)

that is true but for your prof to go up you must be fighting monsters +1 the level of your prof.

your prof goes up every 10 per a click on a mob.
