well i played with axes with 120 dext @ lvl ~50-71
i'm going to switch with sword
should i use the same amount of dext or more/less ? (because the swords dmg are rly approximative comparate to the dmg of the axes)

/e i'm playing fighter/samourai/pala if this helps and softcore

Doesn't matter really, over 130 is wasteful period.

Most people go 120

I myself usually land somewhere inbetween 120 and 130 no matter what weapon im going to use.

there are few factors that should determine how much dex you use

If heavy life steal build and weapons have high ee go 150 dex

in using only a lil ls or lower ee weapons go 125 dex

i'll use these

Mystical ultimanium plate mail
Level Req: 55
Defense: 43 to 129

+19 Strength
+9 Vitality
+9% Life Steal


Rare ice XIV
Level Req: 55
Spell Damage: 73 to 88
Mana Cost: 135

+22 Dexterity
+7% Life Steal


and a sword ~170-180ee lvl55 probably

with that few stat points from gear I'd go for 100-120 dex so you can still have decent str
