Hey there Melee Wellers out there.

i am interested to learn more about melee wellers, i have some questions concerning them.

what kind of a melee build do you believe is most effective vs wells, and how dose this compare to a mage, in sucess rates.

what kind of equipment do you use on your melee weller - im imagining that for a melee weller id probably want to invest the most into the weapon correct? get the highest ee i can find right? im guessing that they would allso use life steal.

which is more effecive a melee weller which heals himself or life steal, or combination?

please let me know i am very interested in melee weller, and may consider changing to a melee weller, i just love melee.

Unless you have thousands on top of thousands on top of THOUSANDS of fg a melee weller will never have a success rate near that of a good mage.

LS would most assuredly be used..and probably a pretty good amount of it.

and your stats would have to be insanely high..Natester is the only one i've ever heard of really using a melee weller effectively..could pm him and see what he has to say. (Empire leader)

Nate uses a rogue caster to well.

there is a build with INT and Dex added but im not sure on the build but i thought this might help alil

I use the following melee setup on a monk and well at 90% success

Basically it's as you said, you need one hell of a damage dealer + life steal, some stats/defense would help out a ton as well but getting all that combined can be difficult.

I was suprised myself when I saw how well this worked for me, just high ee + 22% ls with no stats/defense, I'd assume with a heavy armor class with similar gear my success rate would be even higher. So yeah it's expensive but can be done.

Edit: But also welling goes slower than it would be on a mage, I only well with this because I don't feel like putting together a mage when I get by fine with this, a caster will always be cheaper/more effective for welling tho imo.
