As title says, looking for some "starting" Barb equipment/advice how to build on.
I went ok, untill now, without spending too much fg's, but I noticed killing goes slower now and I can't get bigger killing chains anymore.
About ~ 4-7 kind of depends on the enemy's

So I'm looking for some items + advice how to go on
Current equip;

Mystical Alloy Axe
Level req: 15
Damage: 76 to 92
+3% Critical Flux
+2% Damage Return
+47% Enhanced Effect

Mystical Alloy Chain Mail
Level req: 15
Defense: 21 to 53
+6% Life Steal
+1 Mana Regen
+7 Vitality

As a charm; Mystical Focused Heal III
+3% Armor Pierce
+66 Max life
+15 Strength


Stats (with + items)
Strength: 79
Dexterity: 40
Vitality: 82
Intelligence: 5

Was thinking of going up with dex right now, as I noticed most use/advice to get around ~120 dex

But what kind of weapons should I be looking for? Currently using axes and got my Axe Proficiency to 3 right now.
Should I stick to axes or should switching be a beter option? Because I also can't find really "better" items at the marketplace.

Clubs are also awesome for barbs, and as you said go for at least 120 dex. Everything looks fine for a grinding character without spending much forum gold, the only flaw is that your using a life steal armor with a low enhanced effect weapon. Go for a stat armor bud, because even with 10% life steal you are only going to be hitting about 70+ so thats like not even 10 life back. Get a dex or strength armor, and if you can get it go for a added bonus of life per attack or life steal. This will give you the long chains because your not only relying on life steal but stats with life steal. And try to upgrade your weapons when you think you should, other than that it looks fine to me ! Btw go for a little less vit since, even in hc not 82 is essential on a barb. Base or even 70 vit should do the job

that equipment looks sufficent to me for level 15, i wouldve oped for dex pts however and dex charm

i use simular at lvl 15, and it dose just fine.

you will probably want some ee weapon for lvl 25 closer to 100 is good not much of a need to go further then that, its more then sufficent, for 10 levels., and life steal i tend to like on armor as well you may not need to change it if you opt in for a higher ee weapon perhaps, with a life steal charm, dex charm dose well too. personally i like to use full ls on armor/charm from 30 and above.

i like the way you have set up lvl 15 though, very simular to what i like, cept i would opt into dex.

Thanks for your comments. Already replaced the armor for a +27 Dex type with a little more defense.
So Vitality is back to 75, thought that would be a safe option specially for hardcore, but I notice a lot of people find it too much.

Still looking for a better weapon tho for some more damage.
