So im trying some new things

With my 105 ee sword what would work better

a 200+ ee plate with a 10+ Life steal charm -- would this work well if i put all stats into dex? this would be solo

or a 50 dex plate and a 50 str charm - this would be catacombs

For me, I would go with the 200 + ee plate, and the 50 str charm, and putting at least 125 points into dex. That's just me though, because even though there is 105 ee on the sword which is great, it still isn't crazy enough to do a long chain in solo. However you might get some good chains if crited enough with that life steal charm and plate - which is why it would also be good for solo. They both are awesome, but as you said the stat armor/stat charm would be ideal for cata, and the ee plate/life steal charm would be sufficient for solo. Try them both out though during solo, see which one suites you better. For me though it would be; ee plate, and str charm
