Buy either; Clubs or Axe's with the highest enhanced effect as you can afford. For armor; dex/str or one of each with life steal, for charm; str or dex with lifesteal. However, since you are melee and wanting to well - this will cost a lot because you will need really high enhanced effect upon the high levels to well. Try the mage for a cheaper route to well efficiently, but it's all up to you!
