Is there any real difference between a sword and a dagger besides the listed damages?
I was thinking goin sword so i could use the same weapons for a pally once i pass the MQ.
Any info would be awesome ;P

swords are not consistant at all
sometimes youll hit for 500 , sometimess youll hti for 0 , for example 0 - 400 damage is the range (Not really just an example)
daggers are consistant, like 300-450 ( Not really just an example )

people like consistancy which make daggers expensive
but swords are pricy too because of being able to use on all 3 chars


personally i cant stand hitting for 0 when i need a 200 hit, etc.
so id go daggers, but its all about preferance

Either get axes/daggers which are usable on every class but warlock and alchemist.
or
get swords/staffs which are usable on every class but warlock, headhunter, and alchemist.


axes/daggers are my personal preference, because as chappy mentioned they hit good average damage and still get nice crits.

Dagger can be used more i belive. But man oh man do i love swords.

Huge Waste of fg. The only character that can't use a sword that can use a dagger is monk, which can also use staffs...which are really cheap.

I prefer daggers, but its all preference, whichever has higher ee.
