the key aspect to killing well mobs is a dominant charecter base
this is why mage is so often the accepted route as the very high int, huge ammount of direct damage and impossibly large health bar from heal allows a simple to create build that on a one to one basis is going to overpower nigh on any single mob that is faced
you will note that mages also die sometimes they have their achilles heel of low dex, this is less pronounced now than previously but is still very much the case so unless you take the concept that you will receive critical hits into account within your build either defensively or with some move to negate their destructive capability via early vit or max life items you will even then run into the occasional issue espeicialy vs high ranged assault. vit is oft quoted as the swift resolution to the matter but does not save you by any means and other options can favour the build far more bearing in mind that your overall efficiency and capability does not spring from that source.
i am not the hugest of fans of ee on it's own (melee) but if factored then it is a whole new ball game. pretty much be thinking of the three ways you are going to be hit and that you want to rip their head off with the minimum fuss then let us know what you came up with
remember wells can have a lot of life and are capable of having far higher stats than in the arena, factor that in.
