Dépends if you go arena or mp
In arena i would say level 30, but its gonna be long.

arena = you play alone
multi player = you play with others guys, it is catacombs
in arena you need good eq to go fast
in catacombs low or middle eq is enough

Should be able to get you to 30 solo just fine, and 35ish in catacombs if a decent group.

By that time I'd start to look at upgrading. 10 levels is the most I'd ever recommend going without a new damage dealing item

You must create a game and wait other guys to come
or join a full game
try to get a better sword at level 30, but if you are fighter, i recommand you clubs, they are cheaper
maybe a better dex charm and a better str armor at level 30
But its fine actually go on with that eq

As a rule, more stats on the armor and charm and more ee on a higher level weapon.

The higher you go, the more damage you're going to need to do to have any effect.
