fighters usually go for dex more u should get 120-140dex rest into str

use a Sword or Club
Heavy Armor with EE or Dex or Str
Charm With Lifesteal or Str or Dex

personally wouldnt use less then 125dex(with gear on) on any melee build

weapon = higher the ee the better i try to get a new one every 10 levels for long term planning use swords

Armor = either a high ee plate mail or 30+str or dex

Charm = 30+str or dex (keeping in mind the goal of 125 dex)

all stats after 125 dex is reached = str

this was a good option in the past, but since dexterity is nerfed this would be a waste of points to go all dex.

you should stick to this one, 120-125 dex is probably the best rate to be targeted from the experience most players made smile.gif

The Sword:
The sword can give high critical hits, but also very low hits.

Advantages:
Sometimes you get three high criticals in a row, and you are able to kill more monsters before you have to regen.

Dis-Advantages:
The low hits can cause you to sit through a whole fight just hitting 20's, 10's, 50's and waiting for that high crit that will never show up, you will loose all your life, and as a result you will kill no monster before you have to regen.


The Axe:
The Axe have very consident damage. You pretty much know what you are going to hit.

Advantages:
With the axe you allways know what you are going to hit. You will get very few criticals, but no low hits.
- When you start a fight and you see that the monster is taking low damage, you know you can run because the damage pretty much wont change, and that can give you another kill.

Dis-Advantages:
You will never have the critical hits as mentioned, which can make fights long.



The club:
Stability, with chances of criticals.

Advantages:
Here you have the axe and sword in one. Consistant damage, BUT - Chances of criticals.

Dis-Advantages:
You never know when you are gonna hit the criticals.

There are the reasons,axe sucks cause no critical strike.
