I for one, feel that a vitality Barbarian is the best.
For your first 10 unused stat points, but them in Vitality, then from 1 to 71, put your point in Dexterity.
As for weapons, clubs are the best in my opinion.
-> Seek Enhanced Effect (EE) mods. The more EE the higher the price.
As for armors, plate mail is the best, its like tank armor.
-> Once again, you want EE on this too.
As for your charm, you only have 5 intelligence, so healing is out of the question, so type will do.
-> Mods on this one should be + Dexterity or + Strength, and for higher levels + Life Steal
All of those mods are awesome for your weapon or plate, but make sure you have a lot of EE.
