Fighter and Baba... Str/Dex build's

Weapon choice is totally preference, but can also depend on how far you intend to go into the game. For example if you don't plan on going past the first 3 classes, then a build with swords would probably be best. If you plan on going as far as you can then axes/daggers would be your best choice of melee weapon sets as you can play every melee class with those 2 weapon types.

Dexterity can range from 100-150 depending what you use. I prefer at least 120-130 for all weapon types, but you may be able to use as low as 100 dext with axes or even a pure strength build if needed. Swords I'd say a minimum of 130 dext. The rest falls somewhere in between depending on your gear and preferences.

yea, that's what i heard from my m8...

swords are good cuz you don't have to change the gear for a long time.... but they are the most expensive one right?

Yes, swords tend to be the most expensive melee weapon, and they are usable by the first 3 character classes. I'd say it would be worth the investment over time to get axes and daggers if you want to go all the way at some point, but going swords/staffs accomplishes a lot as well if you ever decided you wanted to go further. (Staffs allow you to play monk(4th char) and then ninja(5th char) you could go back to swords again)
