ok so from what I've seen.

DEX:
0.5% increase chance to crit
1% increased crit dmg
dex bonus etc.
tiny atk speed bonus?

STR:
1 EE

now...can anyone tell me if the next part is right..
I currently have ~200 dex, I'm far from 50% crit
Str basically = 1% increase in dmg output
when you crit, you do 2x dmg
Dex = 2% increase in dmg output, but this occurs less than 50% of the time
Str > Dex?

I'm just going to ignore the def bonus because I'm only concerned with dps, and I'm not even sure there is an atk speed bonus...it's hardly noticable
Which one do I get if I want the most dps...
str, dex, or a combination of both..and why? XD

It also massively reduces the dmg you take when you receive a crit shot.

Most people go to 120 dext then the rest into str.

You can however test a pure STR build since this game is purely about lvling and then relvling

Also each point into dext = +1% on your crit attacks. So with 0 dext you do 200% and 200 dext = 400%

Edit: dext has been nerfed having over 120-140 dext is a huge waste

ive been endorsing the ~120 dex then the rest into str build, but as of late ive been running with 100dex rest into str and ive been doing about the same amount of crits and overall seem to be dealing more damage

My general rule of thumb for dex is based on weapon choice

Axe/dagger = 100

club/staff = 125

Sword = 150

all additional points into str

Its personal preference but I kinda like using a 120-125 dexterity build for pretty much any weapon.

i prefer around 100 dext, rest into str.
