ive done with barb but its kinda slow

Barb is alright, you'd have to grind time-to-time. But in my opinion, a mage would probably be the best, with the fast kills and not the best items it would be a easier climb than say a barb or fighter. The only disadvantage is the mana regen but that's not a huge deal

mage or rogue caster does not require alot of fg... but try to focus most of ur fg on the charm..

go fighter imo, doesent require lots of FG and youl have equipment for fighter, sam and paly when you pass MQ.
slower than mage but its the cheapest option + it turns out to be faster when you get to sammy.

Mages would be the best choice, if u rly wanna solo ur ladder.
cuz ppl hate to party with mages imo, for they can only fite through out their mana.
that means if they run outa mana, they'll have to stand aside.
