Well build is your choice, try a pure strenght build ^^

Imho Pally must use plate or chain mail with strenght (if you chose strenght build), because with extra def you can save many life points.

About charm every type of charm is nice you must only find right charm with strenght add (and maybe some life steal if you are high level ^^)
