Your Guide To The Melee Based Fighter

Starting Stats

Strength: 50
Dexterity: 40
Intelligence: 10
Vitality: 50

Dexterity:

-increases chance for critical hits by 0.x each point
-the more you invest, the lower the effect gained in each level gets
-increases attacking speed
-the more you invest, the lower the effect gained in each level gets.
-increases the damage of a critical hit by ~ 1% each point
-reduces the damage taken of a critical hit by 0.x% each point, degrading non-linear factor

Strength:

-increases physical damage

Where to put your stat points

~You start off with 10 and each level you gain +1 stat point~
~First 10 straight into Dexterity

~Keep the stats Shared between dex and str as you level~

-Aim for 120 Dexterity
-Aim all other stat points into Strength

~There are other opinions on those stats but the ones ive described DO work well~

~GEAR~

Weapons:
Swords, clubs, Axes, Longsword, Spear, Polearm

Armor
ALL

Levels 1-25

Weapon:
~Enhanced Effect~ (The More the better)
Atleast 50+
Weapon to choose: Club in my opinion best range of damage.

Armor
~Dexterity~
Atleast 15+
Armor to choose: Heavy for defence Purposes

Charm
~Dexterity~
Atleast 15+

Levels 25-55

Weapon
~Enhanced Effect~
Atleast 60-100+

Armor
~Life steal~
~Dexterity~
Atleast 5% Lifesteal
Atleast 15+ Dexterity
Note: These Armors are very expensive best option is to get
20+ dexterity on armor and have ure Lifesteal on charm

Charm
~Life steal~
~Dexterity~
Atleast 5% Lifesteal
Atleast 15+ Dexterity
Note: These Charms are also very expensive

Levels 55-71+


Weapon
~Enhanced Effect~
150-200+

Armor
~Life steal~
~Dexterity~
Atleast 7% Lifesteal
Atleast 30+ Dexterity

Charm
~Life steal~
~Dexterity~
Atleast 7% Lifesteal
Atleast 30+ Dexterity

~Where to level~
Its up to you. I prefer Arena with better gear
because its faster. waiting for friends/People to catacomb with
you can take AGES

ADVANTAGES
When Fully Setup With Nice Gear Can Be Extremely Efficient
Ive always liked fighters for the purpose that there's no need to regenerate Mana

DISADVANTAGES
To Setup Properly can be Extremely Expensive
Casters Are Ultimately more Efficient/Cheaper

~QUESTIONS~

Q.With Lifesteal ive noticed that im not receiving much life back?
A. Its a percentage for example if you have 1% Lifesteal and you hit 100
you will receive 1 life.

Q. I seem to get alot more experience in cata why do you use arena?
A. I prefer arena because you always can level you dont have to wait on anyone

Q. My fighter seems to take hard hits and dies quite quickly?
A. Buy heavy armor the more defence you have the better

I don't like the 25-55 armor and charm setup, i think is useless invest on 5%LS armor or charm on this level.

150-200+ - Used a 54 EE club.

Armor
~Life steal~
~Dexterity~
Atleast 7% Lifesteal - First climb of mine, I did w/o life steal
Atleast 30+ Dexterity - Used a 23 Str arm

Charm
~Life steal~
~Dexterity~
Atleast 7% Lifesteal - Again didn't have any life steal.
Atleast 30+ Dexterity - 22 dex charm on my first climb

~Where to level~
Its up to you. I prefer Arena with better gear

Dexterity on 1-25? :S

Max life, lpk, lpa > dex ^^

And 50 ee on a lvl 0 weapon? Thats gonna cost like 100 fg, when you can buy a lvl 0 weapon with 30 ee for like 2-4 fg
