There's all these normal guides but there isn't a word about HC anywhere. "put more vit", doesn't explain anything about hc, if mobs are stronger no details. It's like a mystery game, only thing I know(and i'm assuming) is if you die your char is facked permenantly. Anyone have a link to guides or explanation would be nice.
You assume correctly about the HC chars being "facked" as you put it.
Once he's gone, he's gone.
Although people have been responding in a tongue in cheek manner, these are probably the only answers you will get.
If you are planning on playing HC, then the only big changes will be in your game-play style.
In a word: caution.
Massive amounts of vitality will help only if you are building a tank. At a certain point, pumping vitality is a waste, as you will be sacrificing precious points, say for a melee char. My particular approach for a barb is a bit of dex, a bit of strength in the early levels, then max strength. This is my own bias.
My experience of HC comes mostly from D2 and not from LS, but the main mechanics here are the same.
Be cautious, invest in better gear, and embrace your inner coward.
Live to fight another day.
Since the basic mechanics of the game are no different from normal, I doubt that you will find a guide dedicated to HC.
