Alright, so I've been sort of wanting to make a healer for a bit. Yesterday I found this healing weapon,

Angelic tempered diamond axe
Damage: 105 to 126
+34% Heal Mastery
+11% Mana Syphon
+1 Life Regen
+29 Intelligence

but it's an axe. So I can't make a magician or a guardian and use it, so it's kind of crappy.

Are rogue healers viable? I figure I could also do magic damage on the side for when I don't want to heal, so it seems like it wouldn't be too bad.

if a rogue caster is viable , why not a healer/caster

would be a caster build with some heal mastery added

Well what you have to realize is that a rouge starts with 25 int compared to a magicians 60 int. Which means you will have 35 less mana per lvl than a magician. So @ lvl 70 you will have 2,450 less mana. and a lvl 55 charm takes 135 mana per cast. So you're looking at 18 less casts per cata. Which could be 10,000-20,000 life restored
