Could a pure magic luck char really help out the drops in catacombs... i was thinking about making one but i wasnt really sure if it would work...

I've heard that only the person that kills the mob makes the magic luck better. So having a char with little dmg and lots of luck wouldn't do anything. Or so i've heard
