It looks similiar to Diablo 2 but for the stats points, do we treat it like Diablo 2 where we max out just our vitality, or do we try to equalize all the stats.

It depends on what kind of character you are. Vitality isn't too important in ls.

Magician

Try to get as much intelligence as possible. Some people would recommend putiing your first 10 into vit just for some extra life but it's totally up to you

Ls is quite different from Diablo2 ^^

Anyway your first chose is between this 2 type of way to play:

- Melee weapons with gear that increased dexterity and/or strenght

- Caster charm with gear that increased only intelligence.

After this previous choice you can decide what character pick!

hey i'm also new in here.. I'm a fighter what stats should i put more points in ? inteligence is important at fighters or not really? btw if i want to buy some equip for my char i have to pay with forum golds? and if i find something and i go to sell it at the shop do i get any fg for it ? cuz i saw that if i put some items @ selling there is a seller fee and if i say check and sell i dont receive any message that my item has been sold or something like that...can anyone give me a guide link or something like that?

ok if your going to be a fighter INTELLIGENCE IS NOT NEEDED, get 120-150 dex
i recomand 120-130 *thats what i do*
this is with gear

then pure strength

look for life steal / dex / strength armor / charm
these iteams are rare and exspenive but helps a melee charater ALOT
for a weapon look for a club axe or sword

sword has nice high damage but can also hit very low sometimes
axes has constint damage *i dont realy care about it but some people do*
and clubs is like sword and axe in 1, it has almost as much damage as sword, but it has more minium damage then sword.

look for as high as you can enchanced effect on your weapons


and yes you do spend fourm gold and you do sell iteams for fourm gold
any iteam you put on the market will cost a fee to put it on there i forget what it is
i think its like 5% of what your puting it on the market for

any thing under 20 fg u put on the market the fee will not effect you until your iteam is sold

any thing over 20 fg you have to pre pay the fee, so watch what you sell and dont make it to exspenive
that no 1 will buy it and make you lose out on fourm gold lol
