For an example:

Rare bronze sword
Damage: 5 to 51
+15 Intelligence
+5% Ice Mastery

My understanding is that your character will have;

5% Ice Defense (Magical defense vs Ice casters)

Now, this would imply there you also gain a 5% increase to damage when casting an Ice charm! With the last statement, does this 5% Ice Mastery (5% enhanced ice damage) add to the level of the character etc.

Hmm, now let us say you are Ice casting from level 1 to 15 ... and the +Int items you have on hand only reach +15 ... however, your Ice charms at level 5 and 10 equate to 80% EE ... does the 5% Ice Mastery increase those charms either Base or EE?

From my understanding.

The 5% Ice Mastery will increase Defense only on the items worn plus 5% Enhanced Effect up to the items max overspawn val.e of the charm used (Nothing over 80% on tier 3 etc)

can't remember if the defense boost actually works or not, EE is definitely correct though.

Just as an example, if using a tier 3 ice with 60ee and you had 10 prof and were using that sword, total damage (excluding int) would be as if you were using a 75ee ice (60 + 10 + 5)
if using a tier 3 ice with 60ee and you had 20 prof and were using that sword would hit the prof cap of 80ee, so would be the same as 80ee ice
