an all one or other build is simply not a good isea. I have spent alot of time with melee, dex, str, and clubs in particular. If I know Im going to cata the char anyway I dont put any points into vita and use all dex gear and put all stats to str to get a nice mix of str/dex. I understand only wanting to look for one set of gear either str or dex so end game using dex gear I have like 125dex and 125str and IMO its a perfect balence.

Ive found usin a Club i do more damage when i put majority of my stats in Dex and run a str charm and dex/str armor at lvl 71 my stats were 152str 152 dex base int and base vit on my Pallidin
when in this setup i was critical Hitting More often than with max or more str

so ima firm believer in Alot of Dex no matter What wep type Your usin

my setup i was usin when i conducted my study was 258ee club 51dex 17 str leather and 59str charm

i substited dex armor for a str armor and had less average damage
