Ya thats just how it is with cooking kind of. If you are cooking something that gives you skill up you cant cook successfully 100% of the time. If you stop cooking before it burns completely you can still use the partially cooked fish and get prof points for it too.

The first time you try to cook herring you wont be able to fully cook any for maybe 1-2 levels. Then you'll be able to cook ~50%, then 75%, then 99%, and finally 100% as long as you dont screw up too much. 5 levels later its the same story with the next type of fish.

Also you can cook while regening if you are out of shrines and are playing alone

we all start from zero But some of us bought fg for $, some sold d2 gear etc.



if you start again now, like a random, from zero, without knowledge and friends etc. you will saw that's not so easy now.

I had the opposite problem, I started LS with too much fg. That was equally difficult and presented its own problems like what exactly to buy and from who and avoiding trading with roy. It was not easy bro.

I will NEVER get back the time, real cash, and fg I have invested into Ladder Slashers. Strangely enough... i'm retarded enough to be okay with that.

EDIT- It takes alot to start from nothing don't let anybody fool you, but if you are serious about playing then eventually you WILL get better... and so will your gear!

But if you're one of those types that quit when things aren't just handed to them on a silver platter... then leave your hat at the door and thanks for stopping by.

Cool thanks! I sold 3 things so I bought a decent armor/weapon now.

I started Jsp yesterday and the first thing that caught my attention was LS and i played (with 0 fg i might add) found weapons that looked good to my best guess and tried to sell them for 1 fg, and worked to get gear its really not that hard i spent probably about an hour before i was stable.

im lvl 45 right now with 0 fg

it is difficult i agree lol

Best advice...
Find a way to get 10fg. (Friend, helping people, getting to 25 and rerolling)
Buy the best weapons you can for strength on a barbarian.
Find a group and go to the back.

Do anything to hit 71.
Sell your MQ.
Now you have more FG.
Next run should be easier.

Rinse and repeat.
