ya, i tried these suggestions , and so far to get the best prof,
ive been usin tier 1 earth, and for me, 2hits = 1point prof so its better prof exp
than usin a ee higher tier'd 1
w/ a tier 3 36ee i got 2 hits per monster, 1point prof
where as w/ tier 1 i was gettin at minimum 8-10points prof
so imo weaker = better

You don't need to build up proficiencies to well... especially with that gear. You'll be totally fine ;)

Weaker is not better. Looking at it from the perspective of prof per mob is the wrong approach. You need to look at it from the perspective of prof per given amount of time. I'll explain:

It's a simple concept really. It's not about how many hits it takes you to kill the mob, it's about how many clicks per second you achieve. With the weakest weapon in the game or the strongest weapon in the game, you will always use 1 click per second. You were gaining more prof using tier 1 because you were hitting more times per mob, but using the tier III weapon in the same amount of TIME, you killed more monsters and earned the same prof. Your overall clicks per minute stayed the same with either weapon so your prof will be the same per minute using the tier 1 weapon or the tier 3 weapon, except killing faster and leveling faster with a tier III.

So, in hour of clicking with your tier I weapon, you'll click 3600 times (1 click per second). In one hour clicking with a really good weapon you'll click 3600 times. In one hour your proficiency gained will be exactly the same, but what is different is using the better weapon you've leveled much faster and are sitting at a much higher level. More leveling = more MQ's. And you got the same prof. You might as well use the better weapon instead of the weaker weapon, it actually helps you more.

Something also to keep in mind: You'll gain less prof by using lower tiered items at higher levels (ie: Less prof using a tier III weapon instead of a Tier VII weapon at level 25.

Hope that helps.

you got a point here, but dont forgett:

* all dont have gear up to MQ yet
* To swap gear each 5 level also take time.
* When cant go higher also need to reroll.

Your advice is very good for anypro slasher that like to do MQ's and get profi at the same time.

the low level experimenting i did was to see how to make profi if new to the game (to make char stronger with low fg spent) then start go higher up the levels

Just climb your character on your way to MQ.

If you cannot make it to MQ, just keep climbing as far as you can go.

You could do reroll from a low lvl, but then you wouldn't have any chance for drops really.

Well said. You can only register an attack one time per second. Hence, if you sit behind the computer for an hour straight clicking, you're going to get the same prof on lvls eligible for prof attacking 1 mob for 10 clicks and running as you would climbing the ladder. To answer your question, I'd rather have GPs, chance of passing MQs, and item drops by climbing the ladder & gaining prof in arena instead of clicking mobs with sub tier weapons. It is the same Prof per Hour. The decision is yours...

all find and good if you have gear at higher lvls ...think this obtion for us poor people gain b4 we lvl and suck balls...

Why waste your time by focusing on the low levels. Just click to mq and profs will come along the way. At the end of the day if you cannot make it to mq go as far as possible, but if you can kill one mob at a time you can get to mq, it might be slow at first but will be faster and faster every climb you do.

And I know. Most profs in the game ->
