Mages cant compare to Warlocks anytime anyhow im iso Melee Solo

Well, I wasn't including characters as late game as warlock obviously.

Since I assumed you meant of the feeder classes or no higher than paladin.

If you're going melee with clubs...I wish you good luck.

Since you won't be able to use them on sammy, monk, or ninja

You're better off going with axes and daggers that way aside from mage classes you will have weapon types that can be used on all melee characters.

Hybrid seems to be the best way to get long chains at high levels, although it will cost a ton of fg for the gear.

The most common build i see is 70base int, 100-120dex, then rest in strength.

ee weapon / stat armour / stat charm / ee heal

Hi ya... the info below is just simple... I am sure you have it sorted out already

Because you are using Clubs... it would make sense to be guardian.

Weapon/Armor:
80% EE PLUS... nothing less
... +15% HM or MORE... or 20 Int (combination of the 2 is better
..... Example: lvl35 Club/Plate: 100% EE / 20 Int / 10% HM <-- this can do the job
Other combination is Dex instead of Int... as you will be adding to Int

Main Charm:
... HM (main req)
... Dex or Int (secondary)
... Str (3rd)

As you well know... Acc Charm... best EE% as possible... you will need these every 5 levels... unless they do not heal as much

Stat Placement is detrimental to the stats of the items you are using.

You should ONLY need to add in enough Intelligence to reach 60 to 80 (test this out with 80 int... then down to 60) you will get the idea which is better
Strength for physical damage... pure and simple... keep your strength total about 20 more than dexterity... you can test this a bit more.

Hey rex, heres my plan for hybrid guardian

EE Weaps:

1: 60
5: 80
10: 95+
15: 105+
20: 115+
25: 130+
30: 160+
40: 200+
50/55: (pending how good my 40 is) 200++

Armors:

5: 20 str
15: 25+ Dex
25: 35+ Dex
35: 40+ Dex
45: 40+ Dex
55: 50 Dex

Melee Charms:

5: 20str
15: 25+ Dex
25: 35+ Dex
40: 40+ Dex
55: 50+ Dex

Heal Charms:

5: 70+
10: 80+
15: 85+
20: 90+
25: 120+
35: 150+
50: 150+ (can't afford a better one)

@ 55 my stats would be

89 str
110+ dex
55 Vit
70 Int

I think i would have around 4k Mana 3k Life

Figure i would have around 600-700 Average Dmg with 400++ Avg Heal

Since both vit and int on hybrid guardian are high would be more of a tank even with stat gear

I think im looking @ 25+ Chain without testing this and kills wouldnt be horribly slow with that nice of an EE weap. Also wouldn't have many regens since ima have shrines.

Thanks for all the help guys tell me your opinions on my decision

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier...

Your gear is actually very good... I would like to see how you do with the following stats @ level 55... test it out

1. Stats: this will give you around 9% added damage... slightly reduced crit
99 str
100+ dex
55 Vit
70 Int

Another area that alot of people miss out... try the following stats

2. Stats: This gives you more defense and life, damage is same besides minimal crit chance
89 str
100+ dex
65 Vit
70 Int

As usual... vita at the start... reasoning... Defense (1 vita stat = 0.95% [so I am led to believe])
So a little bit of added defense and life

Just do some testing... you can even test the Int... my monk only has 50 int hard... heals okay and damage is still good...
only thing is defense is lacking with my Monk... but then they are in the back as usual...

Personally I'd avoid putting stats into vit - on a hybrid you're going to be pressed for stats in more valuable places as it is.

True ...
I personally do not think like other people... I look at it this way

Strength: by adding points here you obtain % Damage... (1 contribution to your character)
Dexterity: by adding points here you obtain % chance to Crit and also % chance reduce Crit taken... (2 contributions to your character)
Intelligence: by adding points here you obtain defense vs magical attacks and increase your mana pool and aid your casting abilities (3 contributions)
Vitality: by adding points here you obtain % enhanced defense and your life pool increases (2 contributions)

Pure Tanker (ignore mass damage)... will revolve around 3 stats: Dex/Int (main 2) and Vita (you only need 65 total into vita)... Strength will be last
... from here we have the Hybrid Tanker because they have healing capacity also... not necessarily Soloist...

If you can reduce damage being taken... you last longer...
If you can heal at a rate of 150% more than damage taken... you last longer
If you can deal 150% more damage to monster... you last longer
If you have more life... you last longer...

To me... you have to test and find the balance between what you have available to what you MAY get later on.
Once that balance has been found... you can run games faster... or solo at a good pace to you...
