each class has it details
i think barbarians are more for str
than dex, i've used barbarian sometimes and i think the gain from
90-120dex isn't that worth with barbarian.
would be with another classes, but not in barbarian
i think 90dex is enough on a club barbarian

if
you think your damage isn't enough now, and you can't afford a better
club right now, try play some in catacombs, im sure ur barb would do
good and ppl always appreciate good players there:)

as
far as i know there is no hidden things that make classes with
different stats better. This game has certain mechanics that apply for
all classes. The only thing that differs is the classes starting stats
and what items they can use.

The melee build needs to have dext
and str. And since dext has deminishing returns that is the reason why
people stop around 120dext and pump the rest into str.

never heard that even in the item mechanics it shoulds 1;1.3 or somthing

Str is equal to .95% added dmg. It's not .95% ee. What this means is that on a weapon with 0EE it str is equal to .95EE per point. But when you add EE to the weapon it multiplies against your str.

Example.

If you use a weapon with 100EE and you have 100str the formula to figure out your dmg is
Base weapon dmg X [(100ee+100)/100] x [(.95x100str+100)/100]
(200/100) X (195/100)
2x1.95=3.9
So what this means is that your base weapon is going to be multiplied by 3.9 (290EE)

Now if what you were saying is correct then that same weapon with 100ee and 100str would only equal an additional 95EE making it 195EE

Thanks guys. That is a little hard to understand. Stupid math, but I get it for the most part.
