(played fighter sammy pally caster for few seasons)

mana per attack is awesome, if you are considering using mana at levels 20-40

very cheap build have to say which is great!

i might be stupid but i didnt get it..

so you lvl as melee lvl 0-30 and put all stats into int. whats the point of mpk then?

after lvl 30 you then go lvl 30-71 with only caster ?

not some mix in battles? like : caster spell 5 times and 3 melee hit with sword?

if you get good mpk
then u can cast earlier

also i would recommend melee'ing the last shot to kill (save mana)
unless its a healer monster
caus eit'll take years to kill then

Well my hybrid is different i cast until my mana runs out then i switch to my melee gear and try to do some other mobs which is less regen and more experience


mpk is like a bonus not really needed but is quite handy

Yes,you can get mpk but that's most of the time quite expensive!

What is making up for the intelligence loss in this build...

I don't seem to be lacking defence much on my rogue caster

Because you have godly gears,however the chance on getting highly crits is much lower

I have yet to play any casting char that allows me to get to MQ as a pure caster faster than Mage.

I have yet to see ANY character that can beat me 1-30 when I am mage (I've dominated the early levels right after the last two resets, as the only proof I need).

I like your guide, however, I typically advice to focus on 1 build. If you're going to be a caster, be a PURE caster, and see just how badass you can make the build. Try to perfect it. If you're going to be melee, get your 3 weaponsets, your plate/scale/robe armor sets, and your charm set, and get yourself to the point where you can no-regen through all classes save alch.

Bah, my take, but seriously, fighter casters? Gag.

Still, nice guide though, and I enjoyed reading your reasoning behind it.

Ofc,you're #1 caster imo but look at your gear and how much you've put in it!some people can't afford stuff like that,however with this build they can slowly improve the gear(for example get a good 25charm,etc.)

But this is mainly for people with less money!fighter casters are enjoyable and a test which makes it fun
