Looks like I am going to end up in a dilemma. I will at a point need to get to level 1 without killing any monsters, thus I will have to rely on Fishing and Cooking experience as well as maybe use some +Jubilance items. Hmm, the other way is to use Tier I weapons and use /set easy 0 during that time also.

Oh, I think I found a bug by accident. I explored the first catacomb completely, and on the last square I got maximum prof points, I left catacomb, then entered the next one, and the first wave of that catacomb did NOT give any prof points, oh, this is without using the whistle command either.

Well, been watching anime in between playing, so going to leave last information here for prosperity: :lol: just got a 1006 so no Actions can be recorded, hmm, maybe some of my other postings were incorrect. OH well... just the normal data then:

Okay... I may have found another issue, but I will have to test this more.

I am level 6, I hit Rank 5 in Wild Heal and noticed that I was not gaining any prof points even though I am higher level than the Rank, I did gain prof using the Tier III Wild heal I use on my main slot.

I only came across this and basically tested it once with a new wave, so I purchased a Tier II Wild heal for further testing this out. Also went and got me some Beers (yup, not bourbon) and Cigs to get into the groove since the last day and a half has been utterly poor results.

Well, I gained an extra level (7 now), used the Tier I Wild heal (Rank 5) and did not gain a single prof point during 20ish casts, but gained Prof points when I switched to the Tier II immediately.

Well... time to get rid of the Tier I as a Shrine, :rofl:

EDIT: this may give rise to run further tests @ Rank 10 and switching from a Tier II to a Tier III, also have to check the difference between Weapons and Tier, however, the rate of prof gain may only be tested during a Well mob or Evil Presence. Hmm, now to get my head around that also.

Okay, just keeping me some notes for later on to help with me trying to gain more Weapon Profs based on the character class I choose, and also using Tier I weapons.

Currently I chose a Barbarian with the lowest amount of Intelligence, found out that I could pump all 10 starting stat points into Intelligence, however, I think I chose the wrong weapon, it was Tier III Club with +X intelligence and + max mana (hey... still a great weapon) and a Tier III +max life Armor and Charm (also with +5 Int) for main slot and heal casting in ACC slot with Tier I's.

Now, I will have to change things around by using a Guardian that has LOW Strength / Dexterity and use Tier I weapons, now the Guardian has 55 Vitality and 55 Intelligence, meaning I won't die off easily... so Tier III Armor (Plate / Chain) and Tier III +max life heal type charm on main slot.... I should be able to use a Tier I HEAVY weapon from level 1 to 15 to gain prof ranks until I get Rank 5 in that weapon. The difference will be, more monster kills to try and reach Max 10 Prof, but, again, I can just heal, but the difference is that I will heal up the maximum hitpoints faster, and thus have to rely on shrine items (depending on Mana per Attack on weapon / armor and charm) MAYBE... I need to test this out further.

Hmm... back to anime and the odd LS prof hunt during the boring parts of the Anime.

Still haven't continued on, I forgot to mention I updated my weapon & armor (level 1 Tier IIIs) and got a Tier IV charm with some more life, so, should be able to heal more often.
