Stat all int, get a high int rogue usable weapon ( which is everything), scale with high int, a high ee charm and a high heal charm.

You may want to stat base 5-10 vit if you like but I don't think they need it.

I made one once but hated it and went on to MQ with it and never played it again.

I think I sold the gear I had for it though Sorry.

same as weller mage but you go all int
with the same items mage is better so i suggest to make it only if you can afford lot better gear for it( dagger/staff with int is more expensive then club,axe etc)
you will need 45+ int on armor, wep
but i suggest to make mage and buy 30+ int items

To make a decent Well Rogue, you need:

High INT weapon (50+) clubs and axes will be cheapest
High INT armor (50+) get medium armor, for the defense bonus
High EE attack charm 120+
High EE heal charm 120+

With that said though, mages are better for a couple reasons IMO. If you ever go in catas, just toss some HM gear on, they have more mana.

the only real reason why you should pick a caster rouge over a mage is for the weapon/armor selection

although to make a rogue as effective as a mage you'll probably have to spend the same amount of fg anyways.

the armor can really kick in giving less heals and more dmg output

you also forget to mention how 1-25 on a caster rouge is alot faster then on a mage with decent gear you can go 1-25 no regen with a caster rouge by using melee gear

then 25-71 you cast with the speed of a caster

though i do recomind getting high mana regen gear because of such a small amount of mana

You can do the same with a mage... I do...
There is not much difference between speed from 1-25 with either Mage/Rogue if you have the correct setup
