30 intelligence or more on your weapon and robe. 120ee+ on your attack charm and heal charm.
First 5 or 10 points into vitality and everything else into intelligence. You'll do great with that setup


And it's worth it to wait until level 64 because that's the lowest level where you can get level 55 items as secondary drops

Last night I spent the whole time welling (I had a full vault and ~20 items on two characters, it was somewhere around 75 items total) and over 3/4 of the items I found which were worth selling were secondary drops

No way - magical level 55 swords are 25 - 30 fg, rare ones are 40 - 50, mystical are 65+
Magical daggers are probably around 30 fg, and popular magical charms are like 20 - 30 (mostly ice).
If you find any of those which are angelic or higher they will easily go for 100.

You can just check the market for similar mutables and price yours slightly lower to sell quickly I was at 0 fg the day before yesterday, all of this 300 I have is from selling mutables last night

I've found that the easiest way to make money from welling is to climb two or three characters at a time and save every white item along the way and well them all once I hit 64 on my magician. Then I only do wells on my mage from 64 - 71 and once I MQ then I repeat the whole process.
And I just noticed that you're on hardcore, good luck with that!

thanks, i was thinking just gear up another char with +slots and have him run catas getting white items
