Apparently not many people jsp in war. Anyway, I came back out 2 weeks ago from a year break. There are only 4 servers left (USA). Each of these servers has a decent population. (Im on Badlands order)

What you should know is that they have put in insignias and emblems which you get from doin scenarios. These can be traded in for the best gear in the game, although it takes a hell of a long time to get to the best gear ofc.
There are scen pops 24/7 in tier4 where im at, because of with these new weapons you can get, everyone just bascially does scens now(which is all i did from the start of the game anyway.)Although there is ORVR and PVE if you like.

Thats really the only major change ive noticed. Im goin to get the last weapon I need and rr 80 before i really quit the game(maybe kill the king also if the opp comes).

One more thing I have heard is the next patch is suppose to make alot of things easymode like king kills and sov gear, which kind of seems gay to me but I guess there doing that to get people back or make what they got stay. I hear also that they are going to merge the euro servers with the USA servers in the not to distant future.

Anyway, any questions pm me or post, in about 3 more weeks ill have 2/3 of those things acheived and i will proly quit again or just keep playin till starcraft 2 comes out. GL

p.s. This game is far from dead, loss of population? yes, but mythic is actually trying to make decent changes now and its easy to see endgame if you come back with more then casual time on your hands.
Daoc still has a strong playerbase and it came out in what 2001? War is no daoc but I bet it will be at least 4 years before war dies, IF it does.
