Plaied WoW some weeks before, and was kinda disappointed. Can't understand how ppl can like it, it's so boring to walk around xx hours for doing 1-2 quests while the quests are kind of all time the same.
Also the PvP is pretty itembased and also boring as hell, hated and deleted at end.

What's your guys experience about WAR gameplay?
Does WAR require some skill/brain/tactic regarding PvP?
Give WAR you Long-Time-Motivation, or is it like Hellgate London boring after 3-4 days?
Is it easy to get involved into the Multiplayer teamplay? (important i think)

Give WAR you Long-Time-Motivation, or is it like Hellgate London boring after 3-4 days? Past months have been disappointing, server crashes when you get into endgame RVR, should be fixed in 1.1. This game has attention and should for awhile.
Is it easy to get involved into the Multiplayer teamplay? (important i think) In earlier teirs it is kinda, but once agian in 1.1 it should not be so much of a problem and new classes so more alts are bieng formed. Pick the server badlands there is RVR every hour of the day.

Whats your overall impression? Great, the game should evolve pretty well in the next couple of months, since the server will be stable.

Nothing against your experience in wow or anything but have you managed to reach the level cap and done arenas since that is pretty much what pvp is at an end game level is on wow. I wouldn't really judge a game on quests, but more on what is there to do at end game.

Anyways, as far as warhammer goes, you can expect the pvp to be pretty damn fun. RvR is great on certain servers with high population. If you didn't like bgs in wow or the questing in wow, you may have a hard time leveling in warhammer though since the quest system isn't very well thought out in warhammer. You'll basically be doing "bgs" for leveling and the occasional world pvp.

If you happen to try out warhammer and don't like it. Give it a few months before coming back to it. You may find some good changes. =)

arena is totally item based. and if you didnt start right as the arena started, you lose and cant get any good items

not really. you are supposed to earn items outside of arenas as well as inside them. winning a match depends on your own skill and team composition. i mean there are obvious balance issues that you can't do anything about once start hitting 2200+ rating...

but the items inside arena are MUCH better for pvp then the ones outside of it. so at a point the people with high rating just rape you cus they have full brutal or w/e

The fact that Wrath of the Lich King, got completely beat in 3 days after its release...Makes wow garbage these days.

Pre-BC wow = fun.

ANYWHO, play on Badlands server, destro or, order.

If you want to be overpowered and lame, play order and play a brightwizard.

You need resilience to begin. You can easily get a high rating with bg gear as long as you are a competent player and know your class along with other classes.

Also, it sounds like you played around season 4 which by then, getting gear was easy as hell if you put time into it. Season 2 gear was offered through honor along with season 4 off pieces. Gear is not an issue if arn't wearing greens. I can understand if you didn't want to grind the honor though. I did that for 3 characters for every season I played and it's quite tedious, but that's what you have to do to be competitive at a very high rating.

Anyways, what rating did you have when before you quit? Lower ratings in the 1500s is super easy and isn't even a real gear check.


Well I can't say that I don't agree with you as far as wotlk goes. That's why I never picked it up. They didn't change shit besides talents (and failing to balance once again). It's practically a patch that you must spend 40 dollars on.
I really really wish I played pre bc though. The whole game changed as bc came out.

Give WAR you Long-Time-Motivation, or is it like Hellgate London boring after 3-4 days? - Long time motivation in gearing up (post 40), though the game slows down alot when you hit level 12 which may discourage people.
Is it easy to get involved into the Multiplayer teamplay? (important i think) - Very, very easy. You click a button in the corner of your screen to queue up for a scenerio (battleground)
Chatting Based on Teamspeak(/Voicechat) or Keyboard? - Mainly ventrilo communication as typing is tedious when in the battle.
Whats your overall impression? - Very great game.
